"I was a resident of Formia from 1993-2005 and when I compare the town today in July 2023 with the time when I lived in Formia, I see many changes for the worse. Formia has become much dirtier, roads are poorly maintained, few improvements have been made to the town infrastructure while at the same time parking for cars is on a payment basis up to midnight (before it was free). Therefore it seems the town revenues have increased but the services have got worse (confirmed by other friends who live in Formia), how is this possible ? Formia is much more crowded and seems to have become a small Naples, with all the associated chaos. What a pity because it used to be a very nice town. Let's hope that the town will make more positive changes as has happened in Gaeta and in Scauri over the past 10 years !"
